They sport a new pizzaiolo and they claim to have the best pizza in the region. Well, needs a test, doesn't it. In short: The pizzas are alright, but they are not excellent. I still would not recommend the restaurant for its pizze (for the other food I would, their cook is good). The ambiente is good and the restaurant has one of the oldest wooden wall panels that exist in the whole canton (don't ask me how old it is, though, for sure many 100 years). The staff does not seem overly self-confident. Somehow the pizza did not make a... balanced impression. Smallish, a bit too thick. In all, this pizzeria is worth a casual visit, but if you really want to go for a good pizza in the region, go to La Casa in Feusisberg. |

Solides Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente. Die Pizzas sind nicht wirklich exzellent aber durchaus geniessbar, die Auswahl ist eher unterdurchschnittlich. Das Restaurant hat auch andere italienische Gerichte auf der Karte, die wie berichtet wird, sehr empfehlenswert sind, die Tortellini Piemontesi seien sehr gut. Die St. Verena gehört zu den nächsten Restaurants für mich, darum werde ich sicher wieder hingehen. Eine Reise von > 20 km lohnt sich weniger. |
