Super Auswahl, super Essen ob Pizza, Pasta oder was auch immer auf den Tisch kommt. Ich werde sicher öfters ins "Al Solito Posto" essen gehen. | ||||||||||||||

Pizzas are tasty, at "Al Solito Posto", and so are the other dishes (as the "spaghetti alla carbonara" for example): the quality of the served food is worth a visit! However, the choice of pizzas is somehow limited, and the restaurant itself is not special at all: the main room is filled with 6-place long tables (so forget romantic tete-a-tete with your fiancé(e)), and the separate small room is so psychedelic painted (red walls and copper ceiling and pavement) to test your nerves during the dinner... But all in all, the quality of the pizzas -which is in fact the main aspect- convinces me to come back at "Al Solito posto" again! |

The restaurant itself is nothing special, but if you are with a group of friends and want to organize a special dinner or a birthday party it's a good place because you can reserve the "red room", where you can enjoy being just with your friends. There room is for max. 20 people. The choice of food is not particularly wide, but the food is good and the waiters are friendly. I would probably come back again, but if I could choose, this restaurant wouldn't be my first choice. | ||||||||||||||

i find this place overrated. there are only a few pizzas on the menu that i like, although those are good (e.g. i like very much the pizza caprese). overall pretty good, but nothing to die for. | ||||||||||||||

Pizza ist zwar gut, aber ich hatte mehr vom ersten in der Rangliste erwartet... zum beispiel finde ich die pizza in Verona besser. | ||||||||||||||

Es ist ein sehr sehr gutes Restaurant und die Pizza ist ausgezeichnet !! Besser als manche in Italien selbst !! Leider ist es öfters überfüllt, und man findet keinen Platz aber kann wohl nicht negatives bedeuten! ;-) Comeback? Keine Frage, Absolut JA! |

Sicher eine der Top Pizzerias der Schweiz!! Die Pizza ist seht knusprig, schmackhaft und dünn! So wie man sie haben will! natürlich ist der wunderschöne Holzofen schon Grund genug mal rein zu schauen! Sehr zu empfehlen!!! |

Best Pizza in Town! Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Im Sommer draussen mitten im urbanen Quartier eine Pizza zu essen ist einfach genial! |

Nach einer sehr freundlichen Begrüssung wurden wir sehr aufmerksam bedient. Unsere Sonderwünsche bei den Pizzas wurden prompt und mit Kreativität umgesetzt. Alles war sehr lecker angerichtet und kam heiss auf den Tisch. Der empfohlene Wein passte hervorragend zum Essen. Obwohl wir erst das erste Mal da waren, fühlten wir uns wie Stammgäste! |

The usual suspects hits the usual place. I like this place, I have been here a lot since a work colleague of mine knows the owner fairly well. But I will be objective, anyway it is an easy task, since the place is among the best ones around. The pizza is good - as franca pointed out - maybe not the largest (see Rosso's or Golosone's) but the quality and taste are excellent. Once I got a quite burned one, I told this to the waiter that offered to bring a new one. I did not want to wait longer so I did not accept... in return he brought me a beer-stange. A nice gesture. The restaurant is indeed a bit small and in my opinion a bit too cold looking. Mabye not the best place for a romantic rendez-vopus. Perfect for a group of friend... if you are not more than 6-8. ;-) |

Real Italian staff, friendly people. Pizza is very good but there are days when they don't get it right. Maybe they use different cooks. On good days, the pizza is really tasty. The restaurant itself needs some refurnishing, it's very old looking, and needs air conditioning. Grappa+espresso is a must after a pizza here! |

"Al solito posto" (which literally means "at the usual place") is a small and nice pizzeria placed along a side road of the Langstrasse near Limmatplatz. Inside there is just enough place to sit comfortably but moving around can be tricky, and if you end up sitting near the oven you will experience a fairly warm climate. The decoration is simple yet proper, the environment cosy and pleasant. During the summer it is possible to sit outside, the road is dead end so there are almost no cars driving by. The staffs are always kind, efficiency can vary considerably depending on the person yet remaining within acceptable limits, and when the situation is really crowded you can also see the restaurant’s owner among them help waiting. I hardly had to wait longer than a 15-20 minutes to get my pizza, but if you’re really hungry you can order a excellent "bruschetta" to survive the delay. The pizza is really good, crispy and large. You have the choice between a number of classic and more creative garnitures, my very favourite one is a speciality of the house, the "pizza mafiosa" with marinated meat, I guess I chose that one every second time I went there. Overall one of my favourite pizzeria in Zürich. |
